Hello, and welcome to our initial posts of our eNewsletter. I expect that you are already swamped with your daily activities. So, WHY would you take the time to read this newsletter? Exactly BECAUSE you are already swamped and the LAST thing you have time to research is technology! Right?
So, the idea is that we can bring to you topics that you NEED to start knowing about, but in small bites, in cattlemen’s terms, the portions of the technology that cattlemen DO need to know, and without ALL the DETAILS that you really don’t need.
If you can take 10-15 minutes per month to scan these newsletters, you just might learn something, or at least gain some exposure and knowledge to topics you might NEVER go research on your own.
This probably isn’t your first cattle industry newsletter in your Inbox, so WHY read THIS one? Well, those link you to articles about prices going up or down, the affect of weather and how to treat and feed cattle… all good, really. These are topics you are well aware of and have learned your entire life. You already have a solid foundation of knowledge and experience in these topics. That makes them easy for you to read.
BUT, technology is here. URGGGG!!!!
It’s either going to help you succeed or leave you out.
Also, it may NOT be in your basic foundation of knowledge and experience, so it’s more difficult to know where to get started, and more difficult to understand the language.
So, why NOT let us help? Why NOT read this newsletter? What’s to lose?
Let us help! And please participate! It's a community conversation.
Go to our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/cattlemansresource and give us some feedback. If you have experience on a topic, please feel free to comment on it on our Facebook page. That will also automatically put a link to your company from our article so it will give others a chance to click on YOUR link and go find out more about YOUR company. That's how it works.
(We do reserve the right to remove any inappropriate material.)
Also, you can use our email link [email protected] and ask us a question or tell us a topic that you would like us to include in a future eNewsletter. There you also can give us other feedback that you might not want to post on the open wall of our Facebook page.
Trying to help,
Lori
